We travel a lot (across the whole World), we like to visit different places in EU, love gastronomic and wine tasting tours. Therefore, we have already stayed in many hotels across the EU. We were surprised that towels in the room are not white, but purple-blue, isn’t it mandatory to have them white? In our room there were only 2 towels, chambermaids maybe forgot, we asked for 2 towels more, so they brought them us. Room was spacious, but no safe, insufficient hygienic items, not enough soap in the supply soap bank, last morning even nothing. Breakfat was middling, I can imagine better for 4-stars…, BUT: staff was very nice and polite, hotel is situated in the very centre of Bautzen, sights are breathtaking, museums, towers… as well, our trip was perfect.

Auf den braunen Möbeln war leider der Staub noch sehr gut zu sehen. Auch war der Kühlschrank defekt, trotz Mitteilung an das Personal passierte leider nichts. Schade. Ansonsten alles ok, ich würde trotzdem wiederkommen.

Schlafsofa für Kind unmöglich. Bei jeder Bewegung Knarzen und Knarren. So das auch der Rest der Fam. nicht schlafen konnte. Habe Matratze dann in das Zimmer gelegt und selbst darauf geschlafen. Frühstück sollte laut erster telf. Auskunft für das Kind kostenlos sein. Dann doch 5€. Klimaanlage? Sehr laut von der Straße. WLAN schlecht.

There’s a reason why they give you earplugs

We arrived late (10pm) and found out that one or the beds in our room was broken. We got a new room right away and this room was OK. However... there is a church outside the hotel and its bell keeps ringing 24/7 which in practise means that it is very hard to sleep. No AC in the room. Breakfast was OK given the price.

Leider ist das Restaurant geschlossen so das man anderweitig essen gehen muss. Neben dem Eingang befindet sich eine Raucherbar. Als Nichtraucher sehr unglücklich da man sich abends beim Getränk nur im Flur oder im Zimmer aufhalten kann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Super nett.
