The room was clean, we had fresh towels, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffett was good. It was in a good location, not too far from the spots we needed to go. We went on Christmas Eve and I did not know that everything at the hotel would close by 5 including the restaurant/bar pool service so that sucked. The main reason we stayed there on our last night was to enjoy that service.

Reception and pool areas are nice. The rooms are comfortable but need a bit of attention and show signs of aging. They are also not sound proof. We could hear someone snoring in the next room at night for example. Free buffet breakfast is a big bonus and is quite good. Overall, it’s a pretty good hotel without being exceptional. We have stayed here multiple times now mainly because of the price during the low season

La primera habitación que me dieron tenía un tremendo olor a drenaje, para reportarlo tienes que mandar un WhatsApp y esperar que te contesten (no hay comunicación directa a recepción, entonces toma tu maleta, vas a recepción y te asignan otra habitación pero no se puede abrir la puerta, vuelves a bajar a recepción y te dan una llave nueva, vuelvo a subir y tampoco funciona, vuelvo a recepción ?(3era. vez) y me mandan a uno de mantenimiento a quien le demuestro que no funciona, bajamos juntos de nuevo y es cuando me asignan una nueva habitación……. y para todo, no hubo nunca un “disculpe ud”

Ideal hotel in Downtown Cancun

The check in process was smooth, for the most part. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The pizza at the pool bar can be improved. The roast beef sandwich was great tasting. On a personal level, I would have appreciated the breakfast restaurant staff, showing a bit more kindness and consideration to my elderly mother-in-law. She wanted to take a few pastries up to her room but was denied, with the explanation that it was only for the buffet. We had just left another hotel where she was able to take pastries from the restaurant. Apart from that, the hotel was ideal, within walking distance to the Ado bus terminal.

Hotel location is good. Its 15-20 min walk to the market and downtown. Breakfast options were great and worthy for the price. The staff were very helpful.
