The staff was fantastic, very knowledgeable and helpful. Maria at the front desk was on point. She was so professional and friendly. Same to be said for Karen at the concierge desk. The breakfast was delicious. I had the opportunity to try exotic fruit. It was so delicious. The roof top restaurant had fabulous views of the city. We enjoyed our ceviche in this beautiful atmosphere. Our rooms were spotless. The location of this hotel was also ideal, close to the historic old town center and the hub of activities.

My stay at GHL was just what I needed away from the holiday noise in Getsemani. This was my first time visiting Colombia, and being 5 minutes walk away from the Clock tower & Walled City- the location was perfect! Breakfast was tasty, though I opted for the traditional scrambled eggs, coffee and toast. No complaints there. Rooftop pool was amazing! The views were nostalgic and it really added a nice touch to the property. The luxury room was a little smaller than I expected from the pics online; but comfortable nonetheless. I travelled with my friend celebrating her birthday who stayed nearby, so not technically solo but my lodging was. Safety wasn’t an issue for me in this area.

The room was very clean, the cleaning staff were very attentive. The pool is the perfect size to cool off after exploring the city. Front desk staff were super attentive and accommodating. The breakfast that I ordered was fantastic. Hotel is walkable to anywhere you would want to see.

Excellent stay at GHL Arsenal Hotel. I had a great experience staying at GHL Arsenal Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was wonderful. The front desk team was especially helpful with recommendations for dining and sightseeing, which made my stay even better. The rooms were very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job throughout my stay, and everything felt fresh and taken care of. I truly enjoyed the comfort of the room. The restaurant food was very good, and the rooftop pool was a highlight. The view from the rooftop is absolutely amazing. I even worked from the rooftop during my stay and was able to enjoy the pool while getting work done, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, everyone was friendly, the service was excellent, and the hotel offered a great balance of comfort, location, and atmosphere. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

The staff was so friendly and made sure anything we could’ve possibly needed was taken care of. This is a beautiful property with a beautiful rooftop view. Anywhere you would want to go in Cartagena is either close walking distance or a very short cab ride.

This is not a 5 star hotel. It is a 3.5 star at most. Paid 2000$+ for a 6 night stay . Expecting a luxury experience for a peaceful getaway with my wife, but kept on getting met with disappointments and let downs. Staff does not pay attention to detail and are very forgetful. A feel of carelessness was felt from a few members of staff (not all) which is unfortunate. Building and decor is full of flaws and mildew . From the stained couch next to the elevator to the mildew stained ceilings leading up to your room and also not forgetting the blood stained sheets. They will dim the lights so the flaws dont show so much. Not even the light bulb in the elevator can be bothered to be replaced. This place will Charge you premium prices for a low quality experience.
