Family Friendly World Class Staff

The staff was amazing! DJ went above and beyond to solve a booking issue created by the booking site. Brian made sure that check in was smooth and easy. The system hadn't saved the changes DJ established and Brian swooped in and fixed everything. The location was right off 94 so super easy access and less then 10 minutes into downtown. Breakfast was a such a good variety of choices and my children loved it! From the staff to the spacious rooms to the great breakfast... no fault found. 100% recommend!!!!

Each time I have visited it has been a great stay. Hotel is clean, staff is personable and very friendly. The only disturbance was construction next to the hotel was loud and started before 7am breaking our sleep.

Nicely updated, but needs communication

Hotel is lovely and updated. Staff is exceptional and kind. Free breakfast was small, and there was no seating left. Had to eat in my room. Its difficult and cramped to get from parking garage to room. Also took a minute to even figure out how or where to park during check-in. I reserved on hotels.com and they did not have record of my reservation. Service desk had to totally redo my reservation and applied my online rate, but it took 3x the checkin time of other customers. Rooms were quiet, but hallways were absolutely freezing. Pool was closed and only open when reserved beforhand, something we didmt know and there was no signs indicating so. Pool is also so small it cant fit more than 4-6max people. My room remote was dirty despite being in a "sanitized and cleaned" sleeve. Built up grime abd dirt around the buttons. Bed had some black tiny fuzz balls on it, room could have used more blankets abd didnt have the extra pillows I requested.

The amazing staff made us feel instantly welcomed. The room was spacious and perfect in every way. The common areas are due for a minor upgrade (carpet is getting worn), but that was immaterial in what was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Overall it was not bad but here are my “complaints.” We stay at a hotel mostly to sleep, right? The pillows were not comfortable, therefore it was difficult to sleep comfortably through the night. Also, from my experience, a Queen bed usually has 4 pillows. We had 2 queen beds and one sofa bed so we should have gotten at least 10 pillows but were only given 7 pillows and one of them was so “bunched up” that it was not the shape of a pillow. They should invest in some better pillows. Furthermore, the sofa bed mattress was so uncomfortable. You can feel the coils! I felt so bad for my family member that had to sleep on it.
