Everything was good except bedding. Sheets and pillow were clean. However, we smelled urine under cover. We immediately ask the front to change room. Assuming the guest before us has urine accident then house keeper didn’t check/change mattress pad and mattress. Seems like they just changed a new clean sheets over wet mattress pad and mattress. Disappointed.

I really like this hotel for its proximity to the lake, Navy Pier, and Millennium Park. It’s super easy to get a cab or ride share to anywhere in the city. While there is a restaurant and room service, which we used one time, you can order Door Dash from any number of restaurants in the area. Just a tip: use Spot Hero for the parking garages nearby. It’s much less expensive than the valet.
The air show was in town and we got a glimpse as they flew up and down Lake Michigan. They even buzzed the buildings!

Thank you for the free upgrade to a stunning view of the lake and river. But was absolutely disappointed when we were locked out and I called and Lorenzo was very rude and told me to come downstairs before they could let me in my room.

Everything was fine. The rooms were a lot smaller than my previous hotel stay in Chicago, but Swissotel had a better more convenient area. The overnight parking was extremely high as well. Other than that it was a great stay.

This is the second time staying at this hotel. With in walking distance of most things. The only reason we don’t give it excellent is because there was no microwave wave. As a family of 4 on vacation we had left overs from some restaurants and we had no way of heating them up. Other than that it is a fantastic place to stay.

They only want to charge you more. I was eligible for an upgrade . They charged me over 540 dollars . The advertise the breakfast as buffet, well, it is NOT a buffet . They will charge you if you “ exceed “ their limit . The worst thing was they even when I told them I am eligible for a free upgrade they declined it . As a platinum member , I wish Expedia would provide feedback and be honest about it .

I was highly disappointed in the parking accommodations. Considering the price you pay for self-parking which was $75 a night I would not expect to have to park on a lower level with no elevator access. You have to climb to floor if stairs with your belongings and only then can you access the hotel elevator. Parking is extremely stressful, tight, and expensive. I was not pleased as all!
