On arrival on Wednesday afternno 21 May, the customer service lady was brilliant. She asked if my room was warm and how she would go check it and if it wasnt she would turn the heating on so it would be warm on my return. Service with a smile was welcoming. We need more people like that in hotels.

Decent hotel across from the Christchurch Cathedral (still under construction). Had Noisy room where could hear traffic and when asked about quieter room the attendant said there’s only one and it had no windows. In end sleep was OK.

The property was nice and very close to restaurants and other shops. They have underground parking and the room was nice. It is very loud in weekends due to the pubs right across the street. There were tons of people yelling all night long and the trams are loud when coming through. Otherwise it was very nice
