Holiday Inn Dallas-Plano

It was a pleasant stay except I could hear someone’s steps 4am in the morning coming from upstairs . Was not that bad though. I think still was a very nice place with friendly staffs especially who checked us in at night.

The room was clean and the bed sheets were stained but, clean. I was shocked that a friend brought her service dog to visit me and they wouldn't let her & dog in the hotel?? I thought all IHG were dog friendly and have stayed in the past with pets. That was the ONLY issue i didn't understand. Bathtub was a little curvy & had to rely on the hand bar to get in amd out of the tub. So be careful!

The staff was exceptional, except for the gal that worked from 6 am, she was rude and super non-accommodating. The wonderful lady that did the breakfast buffet went above and beyond every day, a real gem! The pool could really use some love, we never went in it because it did not look clean and we were there for 11 days. The grounds are deplorable. Weeds everywhere, the rock needs to be replenished and there are so many strobe lights on the outside of the building that need to be replaced. We will be returning as it is so close to family and the pros outweigh the cons. Also, the girls that clean the rooms were very helpful and accommodating.

After reading a few mixed reviews I was a bit anxious arriving. It was a good surprise, the front desk service was exceptional. The property was clean and bed was comfortable, what more can you ask for. The staff definitely are a great asset to the hotel.

The property is average, amenities were as expected, most staff was average as far as customer service. Outdoor pool was average. The rooms do have a microwave and mini fridge. The only outstanding thing about this place was the breakfast attendant—Hispanic lady, I think her name is Maribel? I wish I had written her name down. Truly amazing customer service

No suitcase holder in room, AC was too loud, pool towels were too small, eggs were terrible, light in room flickered, outside doors don’t work with key card, pool door not unlocked at opening time twice, phone in room didn’t work to call front desk, ironing board was so old, dirty and unsafe. Staff was great.
