Lady at the front desk was amazing when dealing with what the hotels.com app stated with sleeps 5 vs when we got there and it was a small room not really for 5 people. She switched us to a king with a pull out bed and brought us a cot style bed. Give her 5/5 it looked like it needed some things fine tuned like screws tightened in the door lock and cosmetics. However I got it for us to enjoy the pool for few hours and to lay our heads for two days. Would consider staying again.

There was so much dust. They are in the middle of a remodel. The bathroom was not very clean. Hair in the tub, used toilet paper behind the toilet. Maybe I expected too much but I'm definitely used to staying in a little better.

Pool and gym were closed for renovations. Room next to ours had a crowd that was up ALL night, very loud and slamming doors. Lobby reeked of weed. Garbage in the hallways. Came looking for a good nights sleep, swim in the morning and breakfast. Well…. We did get breakfast

Upon arrival we were told that they didn’t have the room that I paid for. I had pre paid. I was given a two person room when I paid a lot of money for a six person room, the six person room was listed online, but they don’t have such a room so they didn’t know why it was offered. They even looked online themselves and saw the room. Once in the room, our 15 month old ran over and picked something up under the table- it was a pill!!!! Thank goodness we caught her before she put it in her mouth. I let the desk know, but she wasn’t too concerned. The bathroom shower was also disgusting- the shower track was full of mold that spread each time the door was open and shut. Then we also had a massive bug of some sort in the floor. It was an awful stay for too much money.
This was where the pill was that our 15 month old picked up.

Very friendly staff, nicely remodeled rooms, continental breakfast was outstanding and the hot selections changed every day. I hope to revisit Canton Michigan in two years and will definitely reserve a room at the hotel.

Poor communication on both ends

Paid for 2 nights, they couldnt find my first night stay in the system. They had to call hotels.com to sync it, took over an hour. Was never notified the pool and gym would be closed our entire stay. Room setup was awful tv was mounted on the wall facing the one chair in the room. Most hotel employees greet you upon entering and exiting the hotel not here they never said a word to us.

The property was in the process of being remodeled, and this led to areas being closed off, and the stairwells being BLOCKED by the painters when I tried to use them (which for fire code purposes are supposed to ALWAYS be open and available). I was shocked when I could not access either, since I never use elevators unless I have to. Hopefully they never do this again. Maybe the hotel will be better once they finish this remodeling.

The hotel is under renovation. There is no lobby at this time, however other facilities like pool and gym were available thankfully. Rooms are really nice and clean with all amenities. Beds are very comfortable. Pool water was slightly colder than usual and there was no washroom or change room in the pool area but outside. Breakfast was average, should have some more options in terms of cereal, bread, fruits etc. I didn't find the coffee to be particularly good. There are lots of dining and shopping options around the hotel.
