The hotel was very busy due to an event in the city.
Our room was small, sparsely furnished and not overly clean. The bed was small.
The bed linen and towels were clean.
The curtain did not cover the window so had we not been awoken by bins being emptied early in the morning, the sunlight would have done it.
There were stains on the bedroom walls, the lift resembled a cell block, complete with scratched in graffiti.
The toilet only flushed if you turned the handle nearly 360 degrees.
Despite check out being at 10am, a housekeeper entered our room at 9.30am and was surprised to see me getting ready.
After overhearing the receptionist saying the hotel was full, there was no point complaining, as we had an event to attend and were on a tight schedule.
We paid over £300 for the displeasure of staying here - as an event was happening nearby.
If you enjoy a nice stay in a hotel, consider going elsewhere.
