Great Vacation!

The condo was perfectly located on the beach with a nice sized balcony to see it on. We saw a dolphin and sting rays from the balcony. The condo had everything we needed and I love the calm colors and all the space. The beach chair and umbrella service was super nice and convenient. We used one of the complimentary passes to do the sunset dolphin cruise on the Catteywampas and that was amazing! I love that there is an app to use for the property, so it was easy to refer to information and to check out. This area has restaurants close by (Stewbys and Old Bay Steamers was delicious!) and Destin is the perfect distance where you are away from the business but close enough to get to for fun. Definitely want to stay here again! Only suggestion would be to get a new mattress in the master bedroom, it was not comfortable, but the other bedroom mattress was great!

We had a great time. Place was in excellent location. Very clean. We only had an issue with bedrooms. No blankets on the beds or anywhere in the place so we were very uncomfortable at night as we were cold. Pillows no good either and bed in second bedroom very uncomfortable.But other than that everything was great.

Enjoyed Our Visit!

We very much enjoyed our stay in 4005! The property was everything we needed - great views, great location, loved the size of the balcony and not too many people. The property provided the necessities outside of beach towels (as indicated in the rental agreement). The only deduction we made was because there was still sand on the floor when we got there, so we had to do a little sweeping to walk barefoot immediately upon our arrival.

The condo was on Okaloosa Island in a quieter area and had a beautiful view of the sand and water. There were windows in the living areas so you could see the lovely view even if you weren't on the extra wide balcony. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and nicely appointed. The condo was adequately furnished and the kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes available. The 2 king size beds were comfortable. The baseboards throughout were dirty though and needed painting. The floor of the closet in the 2nd bedroom was totally full of beach chairs and a ginormous bag of pillows. There was no room on the closet floor for guests things at all such as shoes or suitcases. One of the 2 elevators was broken the entire time and the 2nd elevator broke just as we arrived. We had to carry all of our luggage and groceries up the stairs to the 4th floor. The 2nd elevator was repaired within an hour of our arrival. There was a lot of work being done on our wing of the building and dust was everywhere outside the building especially on the stairs. Sometimes it was hard to breathe in the common areas. In spite of the construction, the condo was fairly quiet when we were inside.

Condo was just as described. There was plenty of towels and dishes and everything. The room has a beautiful view. Due to its inset, you can’t see sunrise/sunset from the balcony. The master bed was firm upon laying down but softened nicely and was very comfortable. The beach service was very nice to have.

Perfect for four adults

There is a string of condos, including this one, all built side by side along the beach, that look like they were built in the 70’s or 80’s. The area is crowded with rentals. I would not recommend it for peace and quiet, or turtle nesting (but a turtle nest was marked, right in the middle of the crowded beach, while we were there). Unit 4005 looks like there have been upgrades, but still can use a professional decor facelift. I would still highly recommend. The unit was spotlessly cleaned. The kitchen was well equipped. Both bedrooms have king beds: one is a master suite with an attached bath, the other has an unattached bath next to it. The sheets were scratchy. There is one bath towel/hand towel/washcloth set up per person. The balcony is generously sized with chairs for six. There was a good bit of partying noise going on around the pool area and other balconies in the evening, but not too late at night. The WiFi worked well. Access to the beach was fairly easy. The provided chairs and umbrella were a very welcome amenity. A few things we wished we’d had were a kitchen sponge, chip clips, throw blankets, extra bed pillows, extra washcloths for the bathrooms. Before we arrived, the rental company called to let us know the unit was ready, parking passes were on the counter waiting for us, and all we needed was the door code for entry. Couldn’t have been easier!

Hidden Gem

The condo was much nicer than the pictures on the website! The condo is an end unit & is quiet yet close to the beach entrance. Daily chair & umbrella set up were a luxury and was one less item to worry about. Beach was busy during Labor Day weekend but not crazy to where we couldn’t get a spot on the beach. Broke and Shorey were friendly and professional; check in was a breeze — We will definitely return!
