Smoke smelling, trash littered halls

I rented a non smoking room for a one night stay. Upon checking in, I was stunned by how badly the room smelled. Not just of obvious smoke but just dirt or mildew perhaps? It wasn't clean, a chair in the corner absolutely filthy and spaces covered with dust. I figured it was one night, I could make it work. But after going out to the event I came for, I came back to literal teash and dirty towels just tossed in hall & stairwell. I checked out after telling the front desk I couldn’t sleep in a room reeking of smoke and a hall littered with trash. They were polite but not very apologetic.

Not Happy in Hastings

I checked in at 3:30 the first room the TV and phone didn't work. The manager tried to fix TV for a half hour and I said move to a different room. He moved me to room 107 and it was like a sauna it had to be 90* plus it stunk like puke. I turned the air on and a fan and then left the room until 10:00 pm I walked in and the room had cooled down but the carpet was filthy like the first room. I will never ever stay there again. You spend good money to sleep in disgusting conditions. I didn't take any photos but I should have

The property itself is great. If you book here, I recommend not paying ahead of time. Just wait until you get to the property. They’re not up to date and there on property booking system is garbage. They literally charged me after asking if I pre paid. Just by reflex, I guess. He charged me again. Idk. Good property though. Cheap, quiet and clean.

The room smelled like ciggerettes when i checked in but other than that everything was great. Except for the bathroom there is so little room i could barely wipe my ass! And there was a leak from the toilet or something in the room above me.

This hotel is terrible ive stayed multiple times and its always bad with moldy mildew smells and this last time definitely bed bugs. Still dealing with bites all over me. Amd after disclosing all my issues with the hotel staff they do nothing about the issues and say oh well better luck next time. Terrible.

Deception.

Pictures are the definition of deceiving. There were ants in the bed. Other people's hair on the pillows. The chair looked like it was pulled from a dumpster outside of a drug house. Everything felt damp and smelled overwhelmingly of fabuloso cleaner. Holes in the sheets.
