The dirtiest elevator I have ever seen in a hotel - front end staff was not present for check-in for about 8 mins and smelled of weed when he showed up!

I had extended my first trip and had to change hotels. My room was huge, I actually thought I had been upgraded lol the staff was so kind and helpful. They were under renovations during my stay however I was not bothered by any of that. Thank you!!

Beautifully remodeled place. You feel the very old school vibes but lobby, hallway, room, dining area, all were in wonderful condition. Free breakfast had great options. Valet was affordable and so convenient. Within very short walking distance of great restaurants, arena, stadium, and shopping. Will be staying here again.

Renovation led to aggravation

I arrived at the Hampton Inn in Indianapolis, Indiana, and checked in went to my room and the fire alarm went off. I dropped everything went down the stairs due to the elevators being locked out. Went out to the street as firetrucks were arriving, found that the alarms were going off because of the renovation once the alarm was cleared the alarm sounded two more times. When I finally checked into my room, the paint smell was so bad in the hallways and the room that I became ill. I attempted to call the front desk in an attempt to get another room, but no one answered so I went downstairs to the front desk to find someone to assist me. No one was present at approximately 1 o’clock in the morning I was able to lay down go to sleep due to pure exhaustion once I woke up in the morning to get ready to go to work. I noticed that the bathroom sink was clogged. I must add. I am not one to complain, but all of these events happening during a one night visit gave me doubt about staying at Hampton Inn. I have stayed at Hampton Inn several times and have enjoyed my stay with this gave me cause to continue to stay at Hampton Inn.

Severely disorganized

This hotel is under construction and that significantly decreased the organization and service offered. The current layout and signs rerouting guests are extremely confusing and not made better by the help at the front desk.

Tried to switch bed sizes

Was disappointed right from the start I paid for a king bed and they gave me a room with a double bed on a renovated floor. I was not concerned about the renovation I wanted a king size bed which seemed to disappoint them. I was then given the proper room on an older floor. The web site never said they were in a renovation mode which I feel that should have been stated on the site

Not great…but not bad!

Was in town for my daughter to go to a concert. The staff were excellent, the location of the hotel was terrific, and it was inexpensive. BUT…the hotel is in dire need of a remodel. Has some cool older elements, but needs some refreshing, particularly the hall carpets and the guest rooms.
