The property itself is so beautiful. I however, walk into a patron arguing with the front staff when check in time arrived. Accommodations were great, rooms are spacious. There was a thunderstorm and the window in the room leaked. We had a bay front view which was pretty awesome but unfortunately I woke up between 2-3 in the morning with the stench of low tide in the room. Overall my stay was positive with the exception of these few things.

The best location right in the middle of the historic district. Many local eateries, most with outdoor seating and several with live music. Rooms were large, clean, and we had a gas fireplace. Breakfast choices change every day And better than many hotels that offer free breakfast. Just cross the street to catch the awesome sunsets as the hotel is on the Amelia River.

The property is in the middle of the historic downtown area with a lovely marina across the street. The streets are safe and full of stores, vintage shops, restaurants and bars. The beach is a short drive. The room was clean and quiet. We will stay here again.
