Excellent location, close to many train lines, easily walkable to Nishiki Market and other tourist attractions. Very helpful staff that were friendly and assisted promptly with check-in, luggage shipping and other questions. The large public bath is very serene and relaxing, highly recommend trying it out. Room is modern, spacious for Japan standards - overall a great stay and value for money!

We enjoyed our stay here a lot. It is conveniently located to multiple different subway lines and buses route. It is convenient to get to most tourist destinations, including Arashiyama, Fushimi inari and Nara.

It was at a convenient location, just few minutes walk to Nishiki market and some major shopping areas. Lots of food options too. Room itself was clean and of decent size, quiet, and very efficient check in/ out. Also an onsite onsen is a plus. Would recommend it.

The best value for any stay I’ve had. The facilities (lobby, bath, and rooms) are all beautifully designed and sparkling clean, the hotel is perfectly located just a block away from the main shopping center, and the staff was helpful with storing luggage, booking dinner reservations, and providing recommendations in the area. Would stay here upon returning to Kyoto and would recommend to nearly any traveler.

Travelled to Kyoto with my wife. When we were arriving at the hotel, we were greeted from friendly staff. We arrived early before the check in time but they very kindly let us checked in without additional charge and guided us step by step. The girl who helped us saw that we were carrying flowers and she very kindly provided us with a beautiful vase to put the flower in( it came to our room with a beautiful bow ribbon). We stayed at this hotel for over a week, and we absolutely love the level of the service the hotel had provided and how convenient the location is. We definitely enjoyed our stay here at the hotel!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were so helpful. We loved the traditional breakfast options, comfortable rooms, beautiful peaceful space. The onsen at the hotel was so lovely. Would be very happy to stay there again.
