We loved the location of the Lisboa Pessoa Hotel. It’s right in Chado. 10/10. We had a small car and this hotel has an underground secure parking. We were greeted with the most enthusiasm, and since the hotel wasn’t full, we also received an upgrade to a room with an outdoor patio. The rooms are small, but clean and updated. Staff was friendly. The restaurant upstairs had delicious food. There were also numerous restaurant options within minutes. The spa and downstairs pool, were a nice bonus. We would 100% stay there again. Keep in mind that the streets in this area are narrow. A large SUV may not be an ideal option.

The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Check-in was fast and our room was great. We loved the treats for us in the fridge and loved being located in a great part of the city. Also, the breakfast was amazing! We loved the rooftop view.

The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. I especially appreciated the warm welcome from the reception team. We absolutely loved the steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi in our room — a brilliant touch. We’d definitely book this hotel and the same room again the next time we’re in Lisbon. I would also recommend the hotel's rooftop bar.

We came to this room, desperately seeking a place to stay in the middle of the night after the motel we had stayed in was loud and dirty. It was like an oasis. The staff at the rooftop bar was so kind even though we were late they let us in for a drink. The attendance at the reception were great. The room was clean and there was not much noise even though it’s a Lisbon street. We would definitely stay again. The only unfortunate thing is that the spa folks were running late so I was not able to use the sauna in the morning but otherwise it was a lovely stay.

This is an excellent hotel, very well located in the old town. There are lots of restaurants in the area and it’s above the main shopping area. It is named after one of Portugal’s most famous authors and there is plenty to reflect this in the building. It’s good to see a business take pride in a national literary figure.

The staff were lovely, with particular mention to Yasoja who was amazing and went above and beyond, every single day, to make our stay comfortable, seamless and happy. He and his beautiful smile and constant offers of help really added to our experience. On the negative side, the bathroom sink does not fully empty - clearly a design flaw. So it felt very unhygienic always having dirty used water sitting there, except for after the cleaner came and got rid of it. We were tolerate same in every room. Other than that, the stay was very good.
