The hotel is in a great location but that’s pretty much the only thing about it. Stayed there for 3 nights, i would 100% not return. The rooms are extremely small, there’s not even one shelf to put your clothes on, had to keep everything in my luggage. Shower was ridiculously tiny, i kept hitting my elbows on the shower wall while washing my hair but the biggest problem was the lack of AC. Which was my fault for not paying attention and booking a hotel without AC. There was an old fan in the room that did nothing other than giving me a headache, hotel manager told us to just keep the window open. It was very hot outside so that didn’t help not to mention it was extremely noisy since it was facing main street. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

Perfect stay. Location is right next to railway station. Walkable to all historic places in Lucern. Wonderful people. Extremely clean. What a Swiss hotel should be.

No air conditioning. Terrible shower.

Advertised air conditioning but didn’t have it. We were provided with an oscillating fan instead. Had to open windows while fireworks exploded outside due to National Day celebrations. Shower was terrible…named her Sybil…went from scalding hot, to freezing cold on a whim! Could never find a good temperature to shower. Husband refused to shower until next hotel…3 days later! Will stay somewhere else next time. Hotel was clean and breakfast was pretty good. But will find someplace else next trip.

The room looks good online in the pics. It’s a very plain, but clean room. The tv is a smart tv, so that’s a plus. Otherwise, there is no fridge and the room is just clean, not at all fancy, like I personally would expect from a $300 plus room/night. We missed the fact that there is no AC in the rooms. There is an oscillating fan that helps, and the window opens, but it doesn’t get cool by our standards. It was 23 degrees Celsius when we walked into the room and within 5 minutes, our bodies had raised the temperature up to 24.4 Celsius….thats 76 Fahrenheit. Luckily it rained and brought the temperature down outside and the room temp dropped to 22.3……72. I have never had a more uncomfortable pillow in my entire life. My wife’s pillow was fine, but sleeping without air conditioning and on top of a lumpy pillow was not ideal. The other issue that was annoying was a fluctuation in water temperature in the bathroom. While taking a shower, the temperature fluctuated about 40°. One minute it was fine as you had set it then it got much cooler and then extremely warm to the point of almost scalding. I thought maybe it was a Swiss thing during their showers. The hotel staff said it isn’t. Overall, paying over $300 for a room with no air, no fridge and water that isn’t steady is crazy, but hotels in Lucerne, and Switzerland in general are crazy.

This room was pristine and modern with a safe with no extra charge.It was a small bedroom with a large t.v on the wall but we also had a seperate office room with 2 small arm chairs and a t.v also.The shower room was very modern and exceptionally clean. The hotel itself was very close to the busy train station and walkable in 5 minutes.Lovely breakfast area with a small buffet breakfast.Would reccomend this hotel.Remember to bring a swiss plug adapter bcos our european 2 pin plugs didnt fit into their funny shaped sockets!! We bought one at reception for 10 sf

It is not an upscale place. It has bare minimum IIt is NOT an upscale place. It has bare minimum IKEA furniture. Parking is very limited and expensive. Location is nice, but even the curtains in the room are translucent. Air conditioning does not work. No comforters in the room. Only bedsheets At best a three star

Check-in was very quick and easy. The receptionist greeted us with a smile and even apologised that it was raining in Lucerne. Good size room comfortable bed. Remember that Swiss plugs are different to a lot of EU countries. Thankfully we managed to pick one at London airport. Location was excellent right next to the train station. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Chapel bridge. It’s my birthday today and when I went to check out the gentleman at reception gave me a birthday card and a chocolate which was such a nice gesture. I recommend this hotel and will most definitely stay there again.

The hotel and suite were beautiful. The design was both modern and cozy The breakfast was amazing with every type of fruit imaginable. Would love to have access to coffee machine throughout the day. The staff was professional and helpful if asked, but lacked a concierge feel for assisting in guests stay in the area.
