disappointing stay

The motel is just old and needs everything updated. Room was small. Towels were old, small and dirty. Asked for more and was told they don't have any extras until laundry is done the next day. There's duct tape all over the place holding things together. There was duct tape on the door transom holding the carpeting in place.

Okay option but not great

This is a "fine place to stay". Nothing special at all and honestly a little run down and out-dated, but it got the job done on a busy weekend in Madison where hotel rooms are limited. Room and bathroom weren't overly clean and one of the bed sheets had a mark on it and wasn't clean. The toilet also only flushed 1x every few hours, otherwise, it didnt work at all. We asked for these two issues to be fixed and the staff just put the replacement sheets on the bed folded up and the toilet issue was not resolved.

Dark, Dingy and Damp

Room was relatively clean but the Lighting was poor and the room remained damp during the entire stay. Carpet, bedding, towels... all damp. TV worked for short periods but never longer than 30 minutes at a time. Hotel staff were indifferent.

We walked into our room and it had hairs on the bed and stains on the bed sheets. We went back downstairs and the guy was gone for over 5 min. He asked if I wanted new sheets. Are you kidding? I want a new room. He then wanted us to show him the dirty room and the mess before taking us to another room. When we got to the new room it was as dirty as the first room. We left the hotel without staying
