On my first stay on 10/2025… The room was ok for 2 persons but the balcony was filthy. Cigarette butts littered the property beyond the balcony on the common grass area. On my return stay on 14/2025 … the room was very small only suitable for 1 person I feel. The smallest I’ve experienced in all my travels.

Nothing out of the ordinary. I stayed here twice. Once on 9/10 and once on 14/10. On 9/10 … balcony was filthy and lots of cigarette butts thrown over the balcony onto the planting strip. Poor house keeping. Second stay, room was unusually small as compared to previous one. Can’t say that I enjoyed the hotel.

Check in and dining staff were helpful and friendly. Our room 48 had a very bad smell. Smelt like damp musty mould. This was reported to desk staff on check out. Very unhappy with the room and disappointed with their response.

Arrived after midnight, it took around 15 minutes for the shuttle to arrive, the trip to the hotel and check-in was very efficient. The following morning I wasn’t in a great hurry to get to downtown Melbourne so the very friendly shuttle bus driver gave me a great overview of what I might like to see in Melbourne, and he also dropped me off at the train station to save me A$20 from what the airport shuttle bus would cost.
