Internet was great. Shuttle bus was getting repaired so they sent us an uber to the airport- what hotel did that??? Amazing!! Romero (I think that’s his name) was so kind, offered us anything we needed, always a smile! Give him a raise!!

There was pee on the floor, still wet and bright yellow. I asked to switch rooms but they said they were sold out. If I’m being honest, this seems like a hotel that men bring women to for an hour and then check out.

We landed in Miami at 7pm after a long travel day, and needing to get up early for an international flight. There was a message from Sonesta, and when I spoke to hotel manager Luis he said 'unfortunately we are unable to honor your reservation.. So it was canceled, and being high season in Miami, plus war breaking out causing travel chaos, there were very few rooms available near MIA. When I booked the room I called first to make sure there was an airport shuttle and was assured there was. When we landed I called the hotel and ‘Louis’ told me the last shuttle already returned. He was hateful and not helpful at all. I asked to speak to someone else and he said he was the only staff working. The staff at the airport told us the hotel shuttle was still there but by the time we figured out where to go to catch it, it was pulling away. When we arrived to the hotel the same guy (voice) who said his name was ‘Alex’ was again rude and acted like he was inconvenienced by our arrival. We asked about somewhere to get food after our late flight and he said ‘we could google it’. Thankfully the hotel room was fine and we just needed a place to sleep.

The room was clean, front desk staff was friendly. However, the airport portion of the title was deceiving. The shuttle does not run early enough to take you for an early flight, which is the only reason we had the hotel. And it was about 20 minutes to get there.

The staff was great. The room was spotless and the amenities provided everything we needed. It would be nice if cleaning staff would come in daily to just make the bed and replenish the coffee - no full cleaning necessary.
