A great weekend in South Beach.

A great weekend in South Beach Miami. We went to a concert at the Fillmore and had some of the best food, all in walking distance of the South Beach Hotel.

I had booked this hotel because on Expedia the reviews are good PLEASE BE CAREFUL BECAUSE WHEN YOU VERIFY ON GOOGLE THE TRUTH IS THERE I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FAKE REVIEWS ON EXPEDIA:((( ALSO CHECK BEDBUGS MIAMI IT IS ONE OF THE 1st Hotel that pops up! Just nasty after reading the reviews my mind was made up Iā€™d rather lose the money then to go there bedbugs dirty hotel and old according to REAL reviews on Google other places Also check on trip advisor same thingā€¦ Apparently the nice pictures are from other hotel next door associated to them. So I booked another hotel almost double the price but I was blessed the hotel gave me an upgrade Spa suite worth 1700$ for no extra charge. It was so beautiful! Oh and Sorry staff but I am Putting one star because when I called to cancel 1st there was no answer called many many times and then no one seems to be able to help me they got back to me a few days before arrivalā€¦

The poolside cabanas were very nice, as was the rooftop bar. The staff was great. But the room was not wheelchair-accessible, as advertised. The shower bench was obscured by a glass wall and the toilet was not elevated, nor was the closet bar lowered. It would have been unusable had I not been with a friend who was strong enough to carry me.

We booked for king bed park view, but we got two beds with no view. I got no apology, no rearrangements for 6 nights of stay, and no refund for the extra we paid for king bed room. Manager does not reply to email. AC is super loud, the staff could not fix it, I had to go up there myself to fix it. And it looks nothing like how it looks in the picture. RUN!!!

Loved the location of the hotel. It's centrally located and easy to walk to restaurants and beach. The layout was a bit confusing. Having to checkin and then walk all the way around to the room was inefficient. Also conversations traveled into the main courtyard from the room which was annoying to hear. Felt like we had no privacy. Also the hot water in the room didn't work.
