I would say the hospitality from the entire work staff was impeccable, even though we were there at possibly the worst time in history during hurricane Melissa the staff made sure that everyone was safe and well taken care of outside of the fact of us not having any running water or air-conditioning. We had food and shelter. The resort also make sure logistically that everything was accommodated for.

I loved everything besides the fact that all of the restaurants and dining halls closed early. There was no 24/7 dining besides room service which had a very limited menu and they CHARGED $10 for delivery to the room each order. Same thing with the bars, no late night bar they all close BEFORE midnight. For anyone who likes to take mid day naps to recharge then come back out later this would not be the place for you because everything is closed by 6/6:30pm. Outside of this everything else was really nice.

The staff is great, but you can tell they are under paid and over worked. The hotel needs major upkeep, ie peeling walls, holes in ceiling, dirty carpet, broken door handles that pinches your skin once it falls off. There was food poisoning with several guests vomiting from the cold bar at the buffet. The restaurants are nice. The menu is great with local cuisine. I was disappointed that they charged $159/day/guest during hurricane Melissa. I was already scheduled to leave a day before the hurricane officially began, but this shows this hotel has little humanity. I pray they allowed the locals to shelter there at no charge.

The room was clean, every day the meals provided was delicious, freshly made and served with pride. The staff gave excellent customer service, genuine friendly, helpful and kind.

Worst resort I’ve ever been to. DO NOT BOOK HERE! The food was terrible, I stayed for 5 days & was surviving on the jerk chicken restaurant & beef patties during my whole stay. The whole resort is very outdated & unkept. I always try to research as much as I can before I book anything & for this resort in particular I saw many good reviews & that’s why I decided to book but it was a terrible idea. As soon as we got to the hotel we tried to contact Expedia to give us a refund for us to be able to book at a different resort but all they offered was a $50 dollar credit. I would never book here again. Worst experience ever to the point we didn’t want to leave the room. The whole resort smells bad, the staff is unsanitary, the buffet is very limited & the restaurants are horrible, I’m not a picky eater & the food was so bad. Around the beach area you had people smoking weed & even their own workers tried to sell you weed. This trip was not what I expected. I feel like I wasted my time & money. Very disappointed. We were limited on options & all we was offered was a $50 key cash credit that won’t be available until 3 days after our trips ends 0/10
