This is a very comfortable old-timey kind of house -- definitely nothing fancy, but the kind of place you can feel right at home in. It's located just a few minutes from 78 and 95, so is pretty convenient to many things, including downtown Westerly. This was the second time two friends and I shared it, and it worked out quite well for us both times. It has comfortable beds and a fully functional kitchen (minus dishwasher).

This was perfect for us, homey and unpretentious (we called it Grandma's house), but definitely dated. The location was very convenient and the neighborhood well-maintained; the beds were comfortable and sheets and towels nice, but the property could really benefit from some simple upgrades - e.g., replacing cracked plastic trash can in kitchen; replacing old, yellowed "welcome" instructions; and some decluttering (such as removing the someof the many partially used sauces in the fridge and condiments in the cabinets-a few are convenient, but too many feel junky). And the WiFi only worked sporadically. Not to complain, but, though it was certainly clean, it needs freshening up.

Perfect space for a small family trip

Cute little Cape Cod style house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.eveythibg was clean. Kitchen had decent cooking supplies. Window ACs worked well on hot July days. Exactly what we needed for our trip.

Great home and great location

My family stayed here for two nights as part of a New England road trip. This house was perfect for us. It was a short drive to Mystic and to Misquamicut Beach. The back deck was nice for dinner and games.

I Really Enjoyed It

The house was clean and had a cozy feel. Good location too, with a lot of restaurants/ neat stores nearby. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking to go on vacation to Connecticut.

Relaxing family time

Dan’s place is cozy and will remind you of your grandparents house. It is a close drive to area attractions. Once we were back from the day’s adventure, we would play games around the kitchen table. Beds are comfortable. The Deck and backyard are nice areas to hang when it’s nice outside.

We stayed for a long weekend after a conference in middle CT. House was clean and information correct. Many family pictures and items from decades past. Reminded us of a house on lake Candlewood we had for 75 years.

Lovely Location

This quaint property was in a very quiet neighborhood and close to all attractions. It definitely had that lived in feeling. So much so that the owner's personal belongings were everywhere in the house. Perhaps a very deep clean out of old pantry items in cabinets and clutter in the closets would allow renters to better utilize those spaces.

Homey place in a good location

Great location!

This small, quaint house is located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to many places like downtown Westerly, the beaches, etc. The house is exactly what others have reviewed: small cottage with outdated furniture and appliances. If you don't mind feeling like you are staying in your grandparents house (which we didn't) it's a great place to call your home base.

Great place for a weekend share

I stayed with two friends over the long Labor Day weekend. It was comfortable and cozy, with everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen. The host was very accommodating, letting me drop stuff off well before check-in time and giving us a one-hour extension on the check-out time -- much appreciated.

Great value for the price

An older house but clean and very comfortable. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and my wife and I slept very well for 4 nights. Full kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. We spent a lot of time on the outdoor porch while we were at the property. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood with very little street traffic. Pracically new washer and dryer in the basement.
