A room full of compromises

This room felt awkward and required constant compromises. While each issue was minor on its own, together they made for a frustrating stay. Floor space was limited, made worse by a large, unusable lamp and a desk in place of a bedside table. Storage was decent, but poorly designed - cupboard doors only opened halfway, and lighting inside was nonexistent. The wall-mounted TV was a head hazard at night. The bathroom had a sink far from the mirror, a badly placed rail, a shower head that wouldn’t stay in place, and you couldn’t close the door with the mat down. The air con couldn’t drop below 26°C during a 36°C day, and the elevators were consistently slow and occupied by cleaning carts. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable and the staff were lovely.

This hotel is quite old and needs to be renewed. Hotel is around unsafe area, rooms are smelly and not clean. Definitely I am not going to stay in this hotel group. It does not worth its price. Carpark is quite low and narrow.

AC not cold air as seasonal and does not give cold air until next month. Website says has a bar, but this has been closed since Covid! But room nice, reception staff friendly and helpful. Location walkable to most attractions.

Loire for my Birthday

Room and location was great. staff very helpful and spoke good English . ( my French is only limited) Only gripe in the room was the small too soft pillows which were more like a cushion but the bed was comfy, there was a hot powerful shower and a nice little kitchette.

Quiet location, close to station

Quiet location, less than 10 mins walk to station & airport shuttle, overlooking river, modern, very nice accommodation and friendly staff. Didn’t cook but useful to have sink, kettle and a fridge Had to ask for the set of complimentary coffee etc & cleaning supplies for kitchenette (cloth, tea towel, cleaner). Air con brought cigarette smell into room at times.

Views of the Loire and well equipped.

The staff at reception were friendly, helpful and spoke fluent English; two lifts were available at all times and the car parking was secure. The room was comfortable, with a large bed, a good TV, a kitchenette with 2 hotplates, a microwave and a refrigerator and a bathroom with shower - all very satisfactory. The only thing that wasn't quite perfect was the air conditioning, which was noisy and not very effective: a pity, as the weather was hot and so were we! That aside, it was a pleasant and quiet place to stay with restaurants and an excellent boulangerie nearby and within reasonable walking distance of the city centre.

Family Trip

I was disappointed with this experience. I was in Nantes for a father - daughter bonding weekend. I took an executive suite. Room: 4/10 the reason I'm being so harsh is that there were little things that could easily have been corrected. The lid for the bathroom bin was broken. The bath was not as clean as it should have been. There was light bulb in the bedroom that didn't work. Reception: Not unfriendly but not particularly polite. No real show of good manners and respect for the client. Maybe snobby not sure what is going on there. Breakfast: 5/10 Very basic. You literally have to ask for everything. Local area: The hotel is actually a bit of a walk from the main street. Taxis were just dishonest. The first taxi at the airport told me he did not know where the hotel was even though the hotel ordered the taxi for me. Another taxi already had 7 euros on the meter even though there had been no waiting time. I had booked 2 nights but was already feeling bad from the experience so left after just one night. I did not ask but the decent thing to do given my complaints about the room the dishonest taxi driver who they arranged etc would have been to refund me the extra night. They did not do it. A disappointing experience.
