The motel had a couple of good restaurants in it, Fujiyama and Harold's. It was clear that a lot of people that did not stay at the motel came by for Harold's as it was always busy. The pool area was always busy as well. Pretty sure a number of people that usede the pool were not motel guests. I should have read things closer as the beds are in fact only double beds, not queen size. It does state double beds on the description so it was something i overlooked. The mattresses were extremely soft so it made for three nights of terrible sleeps. The rooms wre relatively clean. We did find a cockroach in the shower one morning but that was the only one. Bugs can be expected in this climate so it was not really a concern on my part. The breakfast area was small but had the essentials. Was abe to find a table when needed. The staff were friendly, especially the one lady looking after the breakerfast area. She was great!

Great little gem.

When we first checked in we were very impressed. The room was large, the property has 3 restaurants and a tiki bar. The pool looked very nice. I really wanted to give a 5 star rating but the pool......there was a bad smell in the water and the temperature was more like a jacuzzi. It was literally the hottest pool I have ever been in. I realize we are in FL but this waa crazy. Other than that, this place is a great place to stay and close to the beaches and the shopping district.

Great Location!

Great location! Close to everything! Cleanliness. Great atmosphere. The bed was comfortable but in the middle felt like a hole maybe time to replace it. Theres not a sink on the bathroom, the one is located outside along with the mini kitchen area. Not to nice to clean some kids dishes and wash your mouth in the same location but that wont interfere me to return you only stay in the room for sleep. Other than that everything was great! I will definitely return!

Needs some work but still a good value

Plenty of parking. Staff is nice. Cameras are all over for security. We had two outside our room. Breakfast is standard with waffle maker, fruit, cereal, yogurt etc. they have a resident dog in the office. He looks like a nice old golden retriever. We were put on one of the bottom rooms in the back. The rooms on the inside facing the pool are more appealing but my guess is that they give those to guests that either pay more or stay longer. Room was fine. Nothing dirty. Smell was normal cleaning smell, not too strong. Fridge and freezer worked fine. Shower drain was partially clogged and started pooling water after a few minutes. Bed was clean but very broken in and uneven. Didn’t sleep too well on it. I’m not heavy and I kept rolling in the middle and sinking in. Door seal was not very tight and there was a gap at the bottom letting cold air out. Not bad enough to see through but could easily be fixed by staff. Plenty of hot water and tv was fine. Pool was nice and the bar next to it was very nice to have. We could go in the pool while having food and drinks and music. For the price this was still a good value IMO. We didn’t complain to staff about changing anything but I’m pretty sure if we did we would have been put in another room so make sure you check these things right away.
