Missing things needed

A stay at home2 is always great, however, our microwave was not working nor did our kitchen have the things that are otherwise available at other home2 locations we have stayed at (dish soap and sponge, hand soap for the kitchen). We booked at stay at home2 vs other locations specifically for the kitchen. While we appreciate having the ability to go down to the lobby to heat our food, it was very much an inconvenience.

On Saturday, March 29th, our flight was due to arrive at 11:30pm. It ended up being a couple hours late. Finally found the hotel shuttle, but the driver was sleeping. I startled him when I knocked on the window/door. We arrived to the hotel and stayed until checkout time before catching our ride to the cruise ship. On Saturday, April 5th, we disembarked off the cruise ship at 7:00am and stayed at this hotel again. The front desk worker (female) greeted us with a warm smile. I explained that we were staying their overnight and had just gotten off the ship and knew that check-in wasn't until 3pm so we would just be sitting in the lobby. She happily gives us keys to a room. It was SO thoughtful & very appreciated! We made arrangements for the hotel shuttle at 3:30AM. I believe we had the same driver as the week before he wasn't very friendly, BUT was willing to take us to the terminal A at EWR airport since there were others flying Delta as well. The hotel isn't in a great area of town. Nothing nearby that was walk-able. So, we ordered Papa John's.

Phyllis was very cordial in receiving my wife and I during our late arrival. We appreciated our short chat about our Alabama roots. Nice hotel, quick shuttle service from the airport pickup area. Very clean rooms with essential amenities. I would definitely choose to stay here again in any future trips.

Bathroom door had a hole where the handle and lock is. The rest of the room was a good size and clean. Saw bar and assumed a bar with food. My bad, but the bar was not that great. Dial in was the only option for all near hotels,
