The hotel’s only real advantage is its location near Niagara Falls. I booked a room on the 50th floor with a fantastic view, but the rooms are old, with rust in the bathroom and no slippers or robes. Check-in was frustrating — despite offering online check-in and charging my card in advance (even though I selected “pay at property”), I had to wait 20 minutes while staff physically verified my card and passport. To make it worse, I was initially overcharged by 60 CAD compared to the Expedia price, which was only fixed after I complained.
The pool on the 17th floor was unusable — poor ventilation and strong chlorine fumes forced me out within minutes. Parking was another disappointment: not in the building, a 15-minute walk away, and 55 CAD per night. Even small requests were overpriced; two empty wine glasses for the room cost 12 CAD, which is absurd for a hotel of this supposed standard.
Overall, despite the excellent location and view, the outdated rooms, poor facilities, hidden costs, long check-in delays, and bad service left me with a very negative impression.
