Nice and roomy

It was nice. The rooms were clean and updated. The only complaint is the shower door leaked water out of the door. So we had to put lots of towels down to prevent water getting all over floor.

The property was satisfactory and I would consider utilizing it in the future. Although, it is worth mentioning that the breakfast did not meet expectations, particularly the scrambled eggs. Besides that, my overall experience at the location was positive.

The Westgate Palace is a budget-friendly hotel for people seeking more space for less money. We had a 2 bed/2 bath unit on the 10th floor, and it was just okay. Westgate offered a timeshare presentation at their sister location on Turkey Lake. While that hotel had more amenities, it also looked run-down. We had a pushy salesperson who upset my husband due to their unpleasant attitude. I highly recommend staying elsewhere. There is ongoing construction in the area, and road closures forced us to drive in circles trying to find another way in. On a positive note, there was a very nice female security guard who welcomed us back and was very pleasant. However, most of the other staff we encountered in the walkways seemed uninterested in saying hello and appeared overworked and unhappy. We made the best of it, but I was ready to leave by the second day.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The we had 2 bedrooms so my older daughter even had her own room and bathroom. There was a full kitchen and living area as well. The pool was nice and clean and the parking was easy. They also have a free shuttle to Universal.
