Great location. Otherwise, over priced for the quality of the rooms. It felt like a hotel that really wanted to be fancy but actually had old carpet, chipped paint on doors, and a small awkward room. Friendly staff.

Frankly speaking: • service level - very poor • 2nd floor room overlooking the bin practically on the street level • staff not really helpful and proactive towards requests • waitress at the cafe very judgemental and rude • denied request of an invoice • sauna and pool of average quality and extra paid

I love the grand hotels of days gone by. I loved having a comfortable upholstered chair in my room. I loved being able to walk around the bed without hitting my shins on the frame. This hotel does that and more.

Great hotel

It's a beautiful property. The staff are friendly and helpful. We arrived after a cruise and we pleasantly surprised to be able to check right in. Location on Karl Johans Gate is so convenient for shopping and sightseeing.

The hotel is a 25 minute train ride from Oslo Airport and a 10 minute walk from the train station. It’s in the center of everything. Great roof top bar. This is where Il stay whenever I’m in Oslo.

Perfect Location and Old World Charm

What a fantastic experience. Old world culture in a well maintained and updated in the right places building. The location could not be beat. Close to all attractions and walking distance to great restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel for a real Oslo experience!
