We didn't like finding a used dirty plate and garbage in our room dresser. Room wasn't ready for check in time, very disappointing. Beds were very comfortable. Liked all the shopping options and food options all in walking distance. Night life of bars was great too in this area.

The property is very well situated and equipped. Unfortunately, though advertised as non smoking the room did have the stale cigarette smell and I could see people smoking on the balconies. Very difficult to control.

We have stayed in a classic one bedroom king size apartment and it was excellent except the quality of the carpet. All the required amenities were there and it feels like I was living in a one-bedroom apartment. I recommend this one as this is closest to the Parliament Hill. 10 minutes walk

Somewhat Disappointing

The second bedroom had very poor access to air conditioning. For instance, the living room area was 19 degrees and the sleeping area was stuck at 24-25 degrees not exactly ideal for showering or sleeping. Although the room had the ability to have 6 guests there was not enough seating in the living room or dining area to accommodate the guests.

The convenience of being close to the Rideau Centre and the Byward Market was great. Staff are kind and welcoming. The room had a strange damp cloth smell. We found an item left behind by a previous guest which suggested that there was little cleaning done. The floor was dirty as well.

The furniture was really gross pets were allowed and there was dog hair everywhere. There was a mens shelter next door, but we still felt safe. Location was great. And the kitchen was excellent. If they implemented a no pets policy it would be great.

Great hotel made from converted apartments but the area around the hotel is a bit rough . They keep the doors locked though to safeguard their customers which was welcomed . I would stay again just because of the location
