Best Western has a courteous staff with a well maintained spotless grounds and a spotless room. Each room had their very own deck or sitting area outside with a table and chairs for each room. There is a lounge on the premises with reasonable prices for food and drinks.

All staff we met we kind and helpful. We needed recommendations for dinner and they shared some. The rooms are a little outdated but clean and comfortable.

The room was pretty clean and it was so nice to have a balcony. However when my husband went down to get a fork in the middle of the night no staff were in sight. We ended up getting crafty with a paper coffee cup. Then in the morning for breakfast, I got scrambled eggs, and crispy bacon, however the bacon rested over slices of bread to absorb the fat, so anyone with a strong gluten allergy might have an issue. Also as soon as I sat down to eat I found a short black hair in my eggs. My hair is quite long and brown and my husband’s is light and greying. This was very off putting and I ended up tossing the plate and we had to order breakfast. Again, we enjoyed the comfortable room, but the breakfast was… well I couldn’t eat it.

It was a typical best western experience. The bedding is terrible, a thin blanket, lumpy pillows, and when I got in the room, I almost walked out because they sprayed such a strong disinfectant in the room. It was almost like if they were spraying if there was a dog in it and it was a non-smoking room, but it gave me a massive headache for about four hours. My husband wouldn’t let me cancel and go find another hotel so I just hung in there. I kept the room door open to the back pool area so that helped until a bird flew in. Finally got the bird out and the smell seemed to dissipate. I wish they’d use something more organic smelling or natural essence. These strong disinfectant sprays are horrible. It’s too bad because the pictures look so cute. The lighting in there was pretty terrible as well. A shower cap might be a nice touch. It just was a low budget experience, but it was a low budget so you get what you pay for I’d rather pay double and get a better hotel room. And if you book from Expedia and want to change your room, just expect that they will charge you and that’s fine. I guess they have to make their money somewhere.
