It’s Authentic. Historical building with 20’ ceilings and lots of natural light. Some suites have kitchens. Parking is close by and conveniently located in the downtown district. We love Port Townsend and The Palace is the place to stay.

Great decor and nice people!

This hotel is so fun! The decor is amazing (if you like the vintage aesthetic) and the woman at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. You can tell that the people who work there actually care about your stay; the toiletries and coffee bar were stocked with good options, the rooms are designed to relax and enjoy your time in, plus all the cute communal areas with vintage furniture, books, and even a chess board. This hotel alone made us want to come back to Port Townsend, and I wish we could have stayed for more than one night!

We loved our stay at the Palace Hotel. It's conveniently located on the main street in Port Townsend and within easy walk to shipping and restaurants. The staff is very accommodating, and the rooms are very spacious and nice. We'd stay here again.

Lovely historical hotel right in downtown Port Townsend. This hotel has such charm and a plethora of antiques . We are thoroughly enjoying our stay .

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful and the receptionist shared its history and told us stories about it. Knowing it was my husband’s seventieth birthday they placed a card and bottle of wine in our room. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a great stay, but be aware that access to the 2nd and 3rd floors is by stairs, and they are about twice the length of normal stairs due to the high ceilings on each floor.

Great place to stay right in downtown. Rooms are quaint with modern fittings including large screen LED TVs. Plenty of cozy nooks around the hotel to sit and enjoy reading or chatting with friends. Unfortunately, no breakfast served, would be nice if they had a light option with boiled eggs fruit or other light low carb fare..

When I first entered the lobby of the Palace Hotel in Port Townsend, I felt like I had been transported to another time. The Victorian architecture and decor was remarkable. I tried to imagine the history of this place built in 1889 and lovingly restored. Excellent shops and restaurants within an easy walk. Don’t pass this up - the experience and memories will be the highlight of your vacation.

Stayed here overnight. Staff was nice. Hotel is interesting because its split into two parts. Lots of the hotel seems original, looks very victorian. On their websites, some rooms seem updated, however where we were located was "old-fashioned' with modern amenities like coffee pot and TV. Right downtown and across from the water and two great coffee shops.
