The hotel facility looks old although it looks glamous from the picture. The front desk who greeted us was very friendly but when she had a question and asked her co-worker to help, the other one ignored her and kept cleaning her desk for a while, which was very unprofessional. The beds were comfortable and room was clean. However, we were waken up early in the morning by the loud chat in Spanish from the cleaning staff in the hallway that lasted for quite long. I was very upset since this was our vacation when I planned to just relax. This part was the worst experience for me.

The building itself is beautiful! Front desk checkin was quick and easy! Our experience at Vig was horrible! Ordered food that took forever to arrive! Apparently there wasn’t enough cooks! Both the apps and entrees arrived at the same time. When we complained the waiter said it was put in that way. When our meals finally arrived one was missing then we were told it would come out in 5 mins and that turned to 20 mins. The queen beds are so small! Our friends said their room smelt like cigarette and mold and when we got to our room it smelt the same! We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Springfield recently and I figured a Hilton would be better but what a disappointment! Never staying at a Hilton again!

This is an older, and somewhat tired hotel. It was in a good location, and was generally clean. But nothing special, despite the premium rate. The desk staff was indifferent.
