Dingy, poor service.

Beneath the veneer of a remodel, this remains an old and shabby property. The bathrooms are old and in my bathtub, moldy. The air conditioning barely kept the room comfortable. The woman at the front desk never even got out of her chair when checking me in and answering any questions. They sprung a $4 a day parking fee on me when I checked in…this is the suburbs, not downtown! No coffee maker in the room so I had to go downstairs to the lobby for the 24 hour coffee service that produced coffee that tasted like it had been sitting in an urn for 24 hours. No ice bucket in the room and when I asked for one at the front desk the young woman gave me a plastic bag and went back to watching TV.

There weren't any cups in the room, one of the wash cloths was dirty, the room door to the hallway wasn't sealed very well, breakfast was disappointing, no protein or warm food, and there was a fee for parking in an outdoor uncovered parking lot..Needless to say, I wasn't impressed.

Please don’t feed the cockroaches

As a Hilton member I thought this might be a Hilton quality hotel. Unfortunately, this location is little more than a rebranded Motel 6, complete with budget beer cans strewn through the property when you step out in the morning. I can’t fail to mention how great the staff was to install nightlights in the bathrooms to try and keep the roach activity to a minimum. Well, my son unplugged the nightlight one day and the roaches had a party that night. Maybe they were responsible for all the beer cans.

First the doors things was loose and feels unsafe. I went tell the front desks, she called maintenance come fix. Second the showers noddles doesn’t work and it look loose and broke but maintenance said is normal. Thirth we asked for housekeeping, she only made one bed not other bed. Fourth there no fain in the restroom.

We called to ensure we could get a late check out due to being better for a conference before booking the room, they ensured us of a 3:00 check out. The next day the new staff on shift said no, they’re not sure who told us that but the latest they could allow us to check out was 1:00. Regardless of what we were told prior to booking (& being that was the only reason we booked it) they did not budge. Also, they advertise breakfast & that was an absolute joke. Two kinds of cereal & a bagel is not enough to be considered offering a full breakfast. The front desk staff was not pleasant when we brought them our issue regarding the check out. The only friendly staff there was were the cleaning ladies. To top it all off they only have 1 cart for luggage. Needless to say, never again & I don’t recommend it.
