Very nice for a decent price in Santa Barbara. 1 mi walk to pier. The beach is literally across the street. Room was super clean and served its purpose.

Bug bites in bed, planned neighborhood power outage, but we don’t know. Our last night had no power in room, no AC and rooms were hit. Power out from 8pm to 2am. Hotel manager was not helpful at all.

I am handycapped. I ordered through Expedia a handycapped room and another standard for my family next door. I did not get an Handycapped room but it did wor k. My family was upstairs. The parking lot was a dangerous. To get to the room I had to get over two high curbs. The office staff was not at all helpful. They very unhelpfull. the room itself was great as was the housekeeping.

Loved our stay at this hip Motel 6. Less than a block from the beach, location is great. Lovely ocean views from the room. Decor is modern and colorful and loved the retro fridge.

This is the most beautiful well located Motel 6 you ever stay at. It was so clean and the service was so impeccable. It’s definitely the most cost-effective option but also so cute and so accommodating.

A BIG DISSAPPOINMENT

Disappointing from the beginning. Check stated 3pm but at 3pm we were told running behind and it is moved to 4:30. We had a charter tour scheduled at 4 pm. They assigned is a second floor room number and took my Id's. We left amd when we returned we found out the have away our room and only had a ground floor room with two double beds. No perk of bottle of wine. Noisy ground floor that needed cleaning. This place is located ideal but needa better management. Btw We called the manager twice amd texted once but no return communication even the next day (Monday) Very disappointed

I must admit this is the first Motel 6 I've stayed in for many decades. Perhaps the reputation has had somewhat of an influence on that. Having said this, maybe its the location or the price all of which pit this particular property in the "I can't believe it!" category. Well decorated and trendy, well kept quiet, extremely close to the east beach in Santa Barbara. Lots of attractions within the walking distance Be aware during the peak of summer not what you might cinsider motel 6 room rate $$$
