Paradox review: Ok the good. Great bed, ( firm and great to sleep on) if you like a soft bed this isnt the place for you. The buffet breakfast is plentiful so many options including freshly made omlettes. The pool and the gym are good too. Ok the not so good. The rooms are small. So you wont spend too much time there. If youre like us you just use it to have breakfast and sleep youre good to go. Its older furnishings and the hallways get hot. During peak periods it can get busy at the lifts and pool. The staff are friendly, and accomodating. Sadly our parents room had an odour that wasnt able to be fixed so they were offered an alternative but because of their mobility issues they needed to be in proximity to us. The hotel foyer is large and welcoming. Pricing for food and drink at the hotel is quite high. I recommend travellers to not use taxis or private drivers but instead download the Grab app. ( its singapores uber) here you can order yourself a car and its quite reasonable. You may get asked for "chauffered" services but ignore those and just use geab youll save yourself a tonne of money. Their public transport is good if youre near a station. The hotel is within 10mins of most major attractions, but they are abiut 30mins from the airport.

The hotel was in an area that is walkable to everything. I walked at night with no issues, and walked back from Marina Sands area which took about 45 min leisurely. Singapore is safe and the hotel staff, and my room were are great.

Rooms smell mold. when I contacted the front office manager Nelson chu and took him to my room. He said I cant smell and smell is subjective and this is the smell of singapore. It was just waste of my time while he was offering to swap the room Dont stay there, horrible experience. Stay away if you keen about your health

We enjoyed our stay very much and liked the executive room and its comforts. Unfortunately, the loud music kept us awake until early hours of the morning. We stayed 5 nights and it was a real challenge to get any sleep. The team were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the king bed and when we brought it to the attention of the concierge, it was put right away. The housekeeping team was outstanding with their service.please share this positive feed back with them. I would like to suggest that the sound proofing of the rooms facing the entertainment precinct will be an advantage as the music will never go away. My wife and I would love to stay at the Paradox during our next visit to Singapore. However, we may have to choose a room away from facing the entertainment precinct.

Enjoyed our stay and well located for sightseeing. Room comfortable and very clean. Pool lovely, however would Be nice to have water available in the same way it is in reception. It is available in gym but need a room card and found that when we checked out could Not access. Happy hour - prices could be a little more competitive and more online with outside establishments. Good choice of buffet breakfast
