Maybe it is par for the course in Japan (this is my first time) but by US standards the breakfast was pretty shabby. In general, the place was overrun with huge groups. The staff were working hard but barely managed. English was subpar, too. Not a good place for a solo traveler

I had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. One of the front desk girls even helped me fill out the form to transfer my luggage from their hotel to another. I would have been so lost if it weren’t for her help! The hotel and the room I was given were clean and cozy. It was in a great spot for train transportation too! Would stay here again.

Right next to the Asakusa temple. Transportation is fairly easy with the subway station right across the street and around the corner. Only downside is that there are only 2 washer and dryer machine/ (one in each bathhouse side) but there are laundromats nearby within walking distance.
