Hotel location was excellent and got us to all the places in our itinerary within about 15 to 20 minutes. Double bed was a great size for two average Caucasian people. Bed was fairly firm and firm/soft pillows provided. Reception greeted us every time we left and entered the hotel and made it feel homey. Reception also arranged taxi and bag shipping service which worked out excellent for us and made our travels much much easier. Soap and shampoo in the room was amazing. Towels and linens were very soft and nice.

We loved staying at Hotel Niwa Tokyo! It was in a very quiet and safe area where there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby to walk to. We loved how convenient it was to walk to the nearby train station to easily get to each of the cities we wanted to visit while staying for a week in Tokyo. There is a washer and dryer available at the hotel which was very convenient for us to wash our clothes. There is also a very relaxing terrace and rooftop area where they provide green tea and coffee. Vending machines are also within the hotel next to the laundry room and rooftop, and there is a nice massage chair room to relax in! We would definitely love to stay here again the next time we travel to Tokyo!

Very nice property for affordable pricing! It is a walk from train station to train station, but there is a street of restaurants just 5-7 minute walk away from the hotel once you go on the main road. It is tucked away, so you do have to walk more around but it’s still a very nice hotel with nice rooms and good room cleaning service. The hotel staff is also very nice too!

The hotel was in a great area , close to train stations, grocery stores and plenty of restaurants. The room was super clean and had everything I needed. Beds were incredibly comfortable - fridge in room , coffee , tea , bath amenities. A relaxation room with amazing massage chairs and a tea/coffee service 4-8 pm. Coin laundry on site . Rooftop terrace. I highly highly recommend.

Stylish, relaxing hotel with Japanese gardens

What a fabulous surprise. This boutique is incredibly stylish, with Japanese garden patios on 4 levels. It's very relaxing and seemed to bring out the best in guests, who were particularly friendly to each other. Highly recommended.
