Very nice property, great location, nice interior. The nearby forest is a gorgeous walk. Bedrooms are ample, the master bath is a little smaller than expected but the downstairs bath is more roomy. The kitchen/island and living/dining area are very comfortable and great for family and friends to hang out. I was expecting a "real" fireplace but I discovered it was a gas fireplace (the HOA probably banned wood burning fireplaces long ago so it's understandable, I just wish the vrbo ad would've said "gas fireplace"). Also, the ad stated that there was a deck, and there is a very nice deck with great views, but there is no patio furniture. As per the owner, the HOA has disallowed patio furniture on decks, sounds absurd to an outsider (and many neighbors have furniture on their decks), but those are the rules. The ad also says there is a BBQ grill, I was really looking forward to bbq, but there is no grill at the house. HOA rules say no bbq grills within 10 feet of a structure. The ad also says there is a fire pit outside, but I didn't see any. Maybe it's at the rec center? Also, any games mentioned in the ad must be at the rec center because we didn't see any at the house. If you don't need the things in the exceptions I mentioned, you'll be very happy at this great house. The owner is very communicative and helpful. We stayed for a month, it was one of the better deals I found in the region. The only 4 star rating I gave was for ad accuracy, all the others were 5 stars.
