In conclusion - PERFECT!
Couldn't be happier with our choice of place of stay - great location, friendly staff, convenient, clean, amazing food, I can't fault anything. The photos that you see on the website are exactly what you see there - no filter! If you ever get a chance to go Bali, this is the place to stay!
The breakfast buffet food alternates everyday and includes pancakes, french toast, chicken/veg/lamb martabak, exotic fruits, yoghurt, muesli, fresh juice, noodles, porridge, etc... you will never get bored. The restaurant is also placed facing out to the open rainforest where you will literally lose track of time.
There is an hourly free shuttle service that you can take to the city centre (10mins away). Alternatively, if you miss the shuttle, the hotel staff can book taxis for you for IDR80,000 to the city but on return, we always got a local taxi for IDR50,000 and this worked for us but maybe you will have your own driver during your stay.
The rooms are clean and bedding/towels can be changed everday if you like. We were lucky to get a ground floor room as it was so convenient to the gift shops, reception/lobby, pool and restaurants. The staff are super attentive and will try their best to fulfill you needs. If you have any questions, they would always be happy to help!
It definately deserves the amazing reviews and list of awards that they've achieved. For my next visit to Bali, I'd definately consider Maya Ubud, why look anywhere else?

It was absolutely amazing, best and most beautiful hotel since a long time. Very calm and relaxing environment and the staff is very friendly and aware. Food and drinks are expensive but totaly worth it. We will be back soon..

Extraordinaire séjour
Emplacement de rêve (pour une fois pas de perspective de plage de sable blanc mais une forêt primaire et deux vallons où coulent des rivières ; grande préoccupation de l'intégration dans le site : vues magiques des salles de repas, des piscines et des villas. Les chambres sont plus banales surtout en ce qui concerne la vue.
Le restaurant est un peu cher relativement au rapport qualité /prix de l`hôtellerie.
