The checkin was the worst in the tower. No bell hop to assist, i took my own suitcases to our room, so the bellhop cart was full with a bum shoulder at the moment with 1 hand managed to get it into room. The extra blanket was ripped worn and old. Wont be staying here! Ps the cassino was ok. Put normal coffee makers in the rooms.....

Well after walking 15 min from the nearest parking lot to the lobby, we found out we werent staying in the resort side, they have us booked across the street at the hotel side. You'll still be charged random resort fees after your stay though so dont worry. After finally arriving at our room it was getting late so my wife went to bathe our 9 month old ib the tub and realized it was still soapy, and completely clogged. We skipped her bath and all of us showered in 7 inches of dirty water the next morning before complaining to the front desk and demanding they changed our rooms after they wanted to just send maintenence to access the clog lol. I told them they would have to clean the tub after they dragged out 3 feet of hair and slime into the tub, obviously. She ended up changing our rooms to 1 floor above, into an identical unit with another partially clogged tub! Anyways, after all that running around and over an hour wasted changing rooms, the planes flying directly over our suite, and the skytrain right below the hotel I decided to check out and stay our final night at La Quinta for half the price, cleaner rooms, and a free breakfast. First and last time at the riverrock. Front desk didnt even ask us how our stay was when we checked out, lol.

Different than Vegas

Arriving and figuring out where the pool and restaurants were not the easiest. Was expecting a Vegas type casino but it's different, you must show your ID just to enter. The hotel itself is fine once you get used to the layout.

First time at this hotel, was in town for the weekend from Edmonton,AB for my girlfriend’s birthday and the service and experience was over the top! Really appreciate the room upgrade to a penthouse suite it was amazing! Easy to get around with having the skytrain right there as well. Was easy to get to and from downtown. Would recommend to anyone visiting Vancouver or near by that’s looking for an amazing experience with beautiful rooms and lots of food options. Thank you again! We’ll definitely be staying there again.
