I arrived late into Marco Polo airport so stayed here 1 night and caught the train to St Lucia in the morning. It is super convenient that the train station is directly adjacent to the hotel, and that transfer from the airport to the hotel in included. The staff were lovely, however the hotel itself is a little run down and could do with some love. Overall for the convenience I would stay here again.

We stayed here both before and after our cruise. Rooms are comfortable and clean, staff is wonderful. A huge plus for this hotel is that the train has a station right behind the hotel (we never heard it though). The trains go right in to the city of Venice, but also convenient to get to car rentals (just one stop away) which is also a train hub to go to other major cities in Italy. The daily breakfast buffet is exceptional - cost is 9 euros, but well worth it - many hot dishes, pastries, beverages. Just a warning for Americans traveling here - be sure to bring travel converters/transformers for your electrical needs. There are no USB chargers in the rooms….

The front staff was very good and responsive. The hallway to our room had not been vacuumed for awhile. Our room was clean but the shower did not drain very well and almost overflowed. There was also a towel hanging out of the ceiling that we didn't know what it was doing there. Overall an average stay but not sure I would stay there again.

We Are Not Guests Needing Compensations Usually

Problems experienced and the hotel's response: No show on shuttle at airport after confirming the times. Waited 1 1/2 hours after total of 13 hours of flights: hotel finally said to take an Uber and paid for it. Put in room furthest away from the lobby on 3rd floor even though I have mobility issues: moved to closer room on 2nd floor (an upgrade) Elevator door didn't "back off," but hit left arm leaving a bad bruise for 2 weeks: provided a ginger ale upon request that later had to be removed from the bill Housekeeping left our room door unlatched and visibly open: provided a complementary "drink and snack" for 2, that later had to be negotiated as the snacks on the Snack Menu were not included (only chips or nuts) - unclear so management offered to pay half.
