After driving over 1,000 km that day on our way back home, we stopped at Studio 6 Amarillo – West Medical Center, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be!
From the moment we arrived, the receptionist behind the counter was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, even taking the time to share a few suggestions on what to see in town, even though we only had a couple of hours to explore. Fresh coffee was ready in the lobby when we arrived — such a thoughtful touch after a long day on the road.
Our room was huge, spotless, and cozy, with a full-size fridge, a mini kitchen (sink, toaster, and cooking counter), and even a coffee machine. Whoever designed this place really thought things through - even the blue-painted ceilings make the large room feel warm and inviting.
The shower was excellent - strong water pressure and perfectly hot if you like it that way. After a day of driving, it was so social to be able to take a swim especially since we are in October! Breakfast was hot, served and included, and overall, the property felt comfortable, safe, and relaxed.
This place is in a great location, offers fantastic value for money, and gives you everything you need for a comfortable night’s rest or if you want to stay an entire week - or even for an event s they have a huge atrium that can host a reception or an event of at least 100 people.
