Long check in process . The room key did not work and it took them 40 minutes to reprogram it. They did nothing to show some apology for it like most hotels would. A dessert or a free meal for my time wpuld have been nice. The room was okay but there were musquitos flying around , which seems to be a problem many have with this place. Food on premisesbat the restaurants is pretty average and over priced. The brrakfast buffet is great though. The location is a bit of a pain. I rather stay at a resort in Sathorn next time.

The service of a 5 star hotel! Their employees were very attentive, well mannered, always smiling and just overall excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I recommend getting the river view, you won’t regret it. I started missing the hotel the moment my boyfriend and I checked in to a different hotel in a different city. The property is well located near attractions. It is well kept and very clean. The plants and trees were mesmerizing. - May 2025

The Best Resort We’ve Ever Stayed At!

This resort exceeded every expectation we had and then some! From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and hospitality. The grounds were immaculate, the amenities were top-notch, and the attention to detail in every part of our stay was truly impressive. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Whether relaxing by the pool, enjoying the spa, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, everything was perfect. This was hands down the best resort experience we’ve ever had—can’t wait to come back!

Its an ok older style hotel . Booked stsndard room and a suite. After standard argument re Expedia VIP upgrades they upgraded 1 room supposedly to a river view, well youncould see the river at an angle and the remaining outlook was dreadful. I chose thisnhotel because of VIP and wishbi had stayed at my noal choice of Shang or Banyan Tree.Breakfast was a bun fight but good selection. My last 4 stays at Anantara brand havent been great, and will be giving them miss in futureThere are far better option in BKK that is for sure

Perfect 5 star hotel - exceeding my high standards

This is an absolute amazing place :-) - the level of service and kindness is the highest I have ever witnesst across US, Europe, Middleast and East Asia. Truly magnificant. I was very lucky and got an upgrade to an ever better room with a wonderful view of the river and extremely quit at evening and night. The bathroom, the bed, the balcony, the desktop - everything top-notch. With GRAB it is very close to every area of wonderful Bangkok. I The decoration and the art in the Hotel is upper 5 star level - with alot of Thai and Asian cultural artifacts! The cleaning everyday was exquisite and the restaurants absolutely of the highest quality. I even git to try the signature Thai massage treatment at the SPA and it was second level bliss - definitely worth the price. Highly, highly recommended from an International with lots of experience in 5 star hotels.

Fantastic hotel away from high rises. Quiet room with suite upgrade river side view- empty field view and church out our slider. A/c the best we have had in Thailand and needed 100 degrees every day and miserable humidity- coming to the resort after a long day was wonderful. The pool was too hot for me and too many kids in it so I only went once in 5 days. Food and drinks were fine- lots of happy hours on property. The breakfast was fabulous !!! Everything imaginable on it and made to order eggs of every kind. My only criticism is that it’s too far away from everything but we just got Grabs. There is a shuttle but doesn’t start til noon and last one 8 pm on the hour -it’s faster on the river sometimes due to hideous traffic here in Bangkok. Don’t order a tour from the hotel - we had a terrible guide for a day tour of the temples/ royal palace and canal trip. His name was La. Use get ur guide or viator - wish I had! I complained when I got back to the hotel - she just smiled and said we will investigate - ha! That was 3 days ago- no offer of partial refund. That was the most irritating part of our stay

This is a very nice Hotel. It is far from central Bangkok and only one of the Tour companies was willing to come over to this area to pick us up. Other than that, we loved our stay!
