Oh. Wow!. Where do I even begin with the Tower Club at Lebua? As a long-time visitor, the awesome venue has been my go-to for years, and I can confidently say that my latest stay was, without a doubt, the absolute best experience I've ever had. My friends and I descended upon Bangkok, eager for a luxurious city escape, and what better way to do it than in the legendary Hangover Suite? From the moment we stepped out of our transport, the check-in service was nothing short of sublime – seamless, personalized, and with that signature Lebua warmth that makes you feel instantly at home. Every single aspect of our stay was exceptional. The executive lounge was a haven of tranquility and indulgence, perfect for an afternoon catching up with our friends. Breakfast – a truly outstanding spread that set us up perfectly for our adventure the next day. Some of the magic of Lebua, for me, has always been the Sky Bar. Perched high above the a few Hangover-tinis….. yes please! Crafted with flair and served with a smile. What truly blew me away this trip, however, was the staffing and service. Having seen Lebua evolve over the years, I can honestly say that the team currently on duty is the most attentive, professional, and genuinely delightful group I've ever encountered here. Lovely hotel, lovely staff, great facilities. The suites are beautiful and the lounge access was a bonus. We would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Bangkok. We will stay again if we ever return to the city

Staff is excellent. Hotel needs major upgrade. My family and I stayed in a suite but toilets, shower, furnitures are really old. Mildew on tiles in shower not cleaned properly. View is superb but doesn’t compare to the room. Elevators and hallway in our suite floor are hot and smells.

My stay was great. Unfortunately the hotel still has not released the pre authorized security deposit and it has been 20 days. We paid our balance in full and had no charges so there is no explanation as to why they have not released the hold.

Great stay

Service and room were great, food is amazing and enjoyed my dip in the pool, although access to the stairs into the pool was blocked, which makes it hard for people with issues to get in and out. Would have preferred softer mattresses too, they were very firm.

Incredible place, views superb, staff superb, room superb. Bring a full wallet though, it’s very expensive to eat and drink here in comparison to the city and not a lot going on in the surrounding streets. If you’re wondering out try Jacks for authentic Thai food on the river. Very basic compared to the hotel but brilliant.

Good hotel, with very expensive drinks in the roof

The hotel is decent enough; the bed is not very comfortable, but the room is clean. The buffet breakfast is very good. What I hated, because it was too expensive—more than in New York—were the drinks on the rooftop! A regular drink, rum and coke, was the equivalent of USD $30! And they don't serve beer on the rooftop! Definitely, extremely expensive!!!

Solo stay

I stayed in this hotel as a treat to end an amazing 3 weeks in Thailand for my birthday. On arrival you are greeted very personally by the reception staff. The hotel requires a large deposit. You’ll need a credit card. This hotel is iconic and has a grandeur about it. The staff you meet around the hotel are very lovely and friendly. The rooms are good and have really nice facilities but like the outside of the hotel, they are a little bit tired. They are high end, but more classic, not modern. The biggest wow factor for the room is the views. They are spectacular. The pool itself never seemed to get sunlight, maybe early in the day. But the sun lounger area did get a good amount of sun in the afternoon while I was there. I’m sure this changes by season. Food and drink as you can imagine at this kind of hotel is very expensive and incomparable to outside prices. The Sky Bar is definitely worth a visit for one drink. The club lounge was a major perk to the booking. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The snacks were great, especially at lunch time. The guest services and management team really did go out of their way to make me feel very welcome and when I had an issue they did everything they could do resolve this swiftly. They also made some special touches for my birthday which I will never forget. So thank you for an amazing stay. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Unsafe and needs engineer inspection

We arrived the afternoon of the earthquake and nearby Myanmar. Along with all other people, we stayed on the street and waited for the hotel to be inspected. Upon the all clear we checked in and received none of our welcome gifts but understandable under the situation We had paid for the Club lounge which did not open that night and was not offered any compensation. Upon checking out after our three nights stay we were handed a bill of AU$250 for four drinks which we had. When I explained that there were parts of our stay that had been overlooked and asked for perhaps a discount considering we had not had access to the Club lounge and nor did we receive any of our check in benefits, I was told there was nothing they would do or could do. I feel that everyone suffered but the hotel profited and used the situation to their advantage. Very disappointed. I have now seen photographs of the premises and in my opinion was unsafe and it should not have reopened after the earthquake.
