The AC was turned to heating, so we found it too hot to sleep. We tried opening the balcony door to get some cool air in, but with the traffic noise and the smell of weed from the street, it was impossible. Also, the bed linens are terrible, as they're just an old quilt between two sheets, instead of a proper duvet with a cover.
Other than that, the room is nice, but the bathroom is old. The common areas are small and resemble more of a hostel than a 4-star hotel. The elevator is also old and rickety. The whole hotel could use some refurbishment.
As for the location, it was quite central, but the couple of blocks just around the hotel seemed dingy. If I were there alone without my boyfriend, I wouldn't walk there by myself. It didn't feel safe.
All in all, I can't recommend this hotel, as I won't be staying there again.
