Avoid rooms 526-540 which are directly above a concert venue. The music was so loud the room literally shook and didn’t end until 12:45am on a Monday night. Staff wouldn’t shift our rooms and just gave us ear plugs. Everything else about hotel was great except the noise so if you avoid rooms 526-540, you’ll probably have a great experience. Note to hotel: you should invest in better noise insulation in the floor or avoid booking those rooms when events are happening.

Very much enjoyed my stay during the Bergen Marathon weekend. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Lovely whiskey bar, spacious room and convenient access to the train station and light rail. Walking distance to Bergen port. Would stay at this hotel again

Very impressed. Older style location loved the decor. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was a junior suite very spacious, clean and comfortable. Meal in restaurant, enjoyed the baked salmon and dessert warm apple cake. Great location just near the train terminus and walking distance to shopping.

The room was spacious and the bathroom was very nicely done with decorative tile. Overall the hotel has a historic charm. For a hotel this size, would have been nice to have more spaces to lounge other than the dining rooms. We found one little area to hang out with friends and hotel staff was nice to bring extra chairs for us. They provided umbrellas for all of us which was a big plus as it rained quite a bit while we visited. Reception was very friendly. Parking in nearby garage was okay
