I liked the fact that it was a smaller property where we could find the rest of our group easily. It was difficult booking reservations at the 2 restaurants since we had to book by room and there were 8 of us in total. The Japanese restaurant was fully booked before we even got to the hotel.

Food was excellent. Also, the property was very clean. Overall experience in NYX hotel was wonderful. The only thing that we had an issue with was the transportation between the Cancún airport and the hotel. Before the trip, they sent me an information of the transportation, of which price was US$85 for round trip for max. 5 people. I asked them if the price was for round trip and the hotel confirmed it. I thought it was a better price than other transportation companies so I booked. However, when we talked to a concierge, she insisted it was the price of one way not round trip. I showed the communications between the hotel and myself but she said the communication was sent not from the hotel but from Expedia so we have to pay again for booking the transportation from the hotel to the airport. Anyway we thought that’s absurd so we decided to take a taxi to get to the airport.

Beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony. Noisy the first night from a wedding until late. Food was good. Plenty of choice. Beds were very comfortable. Limited space by the pool. Overall a good place to be on the beach.

We were given a room on the lagoon side and it was very noisy all night from the resort, a restaurant there and the road. Would only stay there again if garanteed a room on the ocean side

Loved Hotel NYX!! The staff go above and beyond. The property is very clean. The hotel is on the smaller side as far as resorts go but it was just what I was looking for.

Thank you Clara for maintaining our room clean during our stay. Thank you Eduardo for your kindness and professionalism. Front desk was also great. Lastly, thank you to the entertainment crew Jair, Stephanie, and Rodrigo for keeping us entertained and laughing. The entire staff from towel exchange, restaurant staff, and bartenders were very kind. I could have dealt with a bit less persistent attempts for us to try spas, and other time share like viewing of the suites at the hotel. It became a bit stressful. Otherwise, my daughter and I had an excellent time.

Very good value

Friendly and well maintained. Felt like we received very good value for our money. Room was in the 5th floor with no elevator and extremely small but it worked. The pool and beach area where awesome nd the staff was a 10 out of 10. Limited food options in the day for healthy or vegetarian options Sushi restaurant was beautiful also

My husband and I were impressed by Hotel NYX. Not too incredibly big which made our experience more personal. The hotel was very clean and they always had additional staff working around the facility to maintain it's appearance. We were able to walk the beach in both directions and enjoyed how exquisite the scenery was. The staff at Hotel NYX were incredible. From the front desk, to the hosts/hostesses, to the fabulous restaurant servers, to the two additional restaurants in the hotel who served amazing dishes. It was a great experience.

once we entered the hotel, we realized it doesn't look like the same as pictures and rooms are small, old, and there is this detergent smell all around the room. the front desk team were kind enough to offer other rooms, but they were all the same unfortunately. We insisted on getting our money back and cancel before check-in but the manager didn't agree. We decided to stay but first night sleep was horrible too, rooms are adjacent to the lobby and impossible to sleep with the crowd. Most of the hotels cancel your reservation with charging you 1 night stay, but this hotel refused to do that, we had to leave the hotel and lost all the money, and book different once instead. No curtesy for costumers and they didn't care at all about bad reviews or costumer satisfactions.

The resort was great, but it was small. Very little space to go if it were to rain. Not much entertainment and very little to do in the evening. We enjoyed how quiet the guests were tho. Friends of ours we traveled with were upgraded to a great room in the tower, while we were in the lower level by the cleaning staff storage. The room was clean, but it had no bathroom door and was extremely small. The TV only had lg channels and was not hooked to the cable like the rest of the resort. On a very positive note though, my room was decorated beautifully for my birthday. I was shocked. No one told the staff, they must have figured it out from my reservation. I was definitely surprised.

was looking for a smaller, quiet and not too much entertainment in an all inclusive hotel and this was perfect. we booked 5 nights, and didn't plan on any excursions, tours, just wanted to enjoy the beach. very smooth check-in, all amenities were clearly explained, room was clean and very spacious you could hear noise from another room, but nothing earplugs can't fix to sleep at night buffet breakfast and dinner selection were amazing, with different dinner themes each night. Umami restaurant was amazing, and included with our 5 day stay. Chianti restaurant was included too, but the dinner buffet selection at the Deck restaurant, each day was more than enough for us and delicious drinks were great, not watered down, pool bar service was great, also the beach service very efficient the beach was beautiful and we were able to lounge for the rest of the day, if we got there by around 9/9:30am excellent service from the staff at the front desk/lobby, restaurants, bars, housekeeping really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon.
