Top notch breakfast

Hotel staff were great, room was clean and after a 12hr drive it was a bed for my head. The mattress wasn’t super comfy. Pretty firm. The best part was the breakfast that was included. Eggs, sausages, hashbrowns, beans, bagels, toast, cereal, fruit and yogurt plus different juices… top notch.

The carpeting in hallway & staircase were very dirty. In our room must of the outlets need to be replaced you can use them my plugs keep falling out. Our pillows & bed wasn’t comfortable at all. Very crowded space when you try to get your breakfast food. There was a kid in the room above us who ran all night because it wood floor we weren’t able to sleep.

We’ve stayed at this property for the past 2–3 years during our road trips. The staff has never been especially friendly, but we didn’t mind since our stays were short and we only needed a place to sleep. Unfortunately, on our most recent visit, we ran into an issue that left us very disappointed. When booking through Expedia, the listed pet fee was $10. Upon arrival, the hotel charged $20, stating that their “policy had changed.” Despite showing that Expedia still reflected $10, the hotel would not honour the listed price. While $10 may seem minor, it’s the principle that matters. Guests should be able to trust that the price they see when booking is the price they will pay upon arrival. I was then left chasing down a refund through both Expedia and Wyndham—an unnecessary hassle caused by poor communication and lack of accountability. In the end, Expedia provided me with rewards points, while the hotel did nothing to remedy the situation. We’ve been repeat customers who thought we had found "our road trip motel", but this experience has made us decide to choose a different one going forward.

The desk clerk when we arrived for check in was playing on his phone and didn’t acknowledge me for a minute until he finished playing …. Was not impressed as I stood there waiting. We had arrived 20 minutes early for check in for 3 pm. And was told we’d be charged a $20 fee for early check in. Really! So of course we had to wait the 20 minutes. Not impressed with the customer service there. The hotel it self is dated but clean. Grout on bathroom floor could be cleaned . But was pleased that the carpet in room has been removed and updated with new vinyl flooring. The breakfast is the typical powdered eggs fast breaky. Overall would give the hotel a 3 stars.

We had been on the road for the day when we checked in and were thrilled to be able to park outside our room and unload our luggage quickly. Our room was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. There were dining options nearby and we were able to have dinner delivered easily. We really appreciated access to Netflix and that a good breakfast was included the next morning. Recommended!
