Came with a friend for a concert and stayed the night. This hotel was the best! Clean, sweet staff, nice bar, and right near tons of walkable locations. We didn’t know when we booked but they even were able to provide a shuttle to and from the concert. It was literally THE BEST. Will be booking again every time I come out to Houston!

I love the uniqueness and vibe of this hotel. The staff were awesome and the ease of using their complimentary Uber service to MD Anderson was a blessing. Their fitness room was not complete yet, which was a disappointment, since the weather at the time was not wonderful for going to the parks. Overall, we will definitely use their services again.

Died then went to heaven

Ylem is one of the best places to live within the Medical Center area. It was clean. The sheets, toilet, shower, sofa, refrigerator were all clean. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Oh, the hotel offers Lyft service. That service is well worth it my reservation. I previously made reservation at hotel, Bestway Hotel. It was a dump!!! I was trying to save money. I cancelled the hotel as soon as I got in the room. I immediately made reservation with Ylem. What a different. I had died and gone to heaven.

Ideal place to stay if you are in town for any events at the NRG stadium. The hotel is old but niquely revived with a flare of creative decors. Room is nice, clean and spacious. And the rate is reasonably cheap. Definitely will come back again next year.
