Hotel with friendly staff and comfortable room. Location is great easy accessible with local supermarket at your doorstep if you need it! Breakfast could be better limited choice.

We were not given the room upgrade we had paid for and had a rude male at front desk who was argumentative and mocked us, even when we showed the room photos on Expedia vs room given. We were lied to multiple times by this employee, as well as female named Humaya who openly mocked guests. The location of hotel is walkable to the big sites, which was the one positive. The hotel decor is VERY outdated, the lights in hallways and staircase are off 24/7, which is security concern. Beds were rock hard and the breakfast buffet was inedible, not replenished and had food laid out from prior day for multiple days in row. We travel often and have never had an experience so negative at a hotel before. The front desk staff really tarnished our experience staying at this hotel and we would never recommend it to anyone. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that looked a lot better at the same price range.

The staff were extremely helpful and nice. They were exceptional. Breakfast just ordinary and room was small hardly able to accomodate our two large bags. Toilet was clean even though the hotel is an old structure.

Good hotel great location in Istanbul

This is an older hotel but in very hood condition. In the heart of everything. Walk to restaurants, train, ferries etc. Staff very attentive and super nice.

We love staying at this hotel, restaurant shops the attractions are to walking distance.. Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, only need to update the carpet.. The breakfast was 7:30 am to 10 am but main dishes were always late, they will put out close to nine and very little. I’ll suggest for the kitchen to have ready at the time on schedule.. that was my only complaint, we stayed for five days ..

Fabulous staff, always keen to help. Interesting breakfast set us up for the day. Great location for exploring the sights & evening restaurants on foot. When I booked the hotel I had not appreciated how central it is & how easy Istanbul is to explore on foot. Within easy access of the airport by public transport.

Good location but noisy

Overall a great location but noisy as was on a lower floor next to a busy road. The restaurant offered a good Turkish breakfast and the entire staff was excellent. The location allowed us to walk to all of the mosques and museums we needed. It was a congested area but to be expected in Sultanahmet.
